According to one former top CEO, Elon Musk will need more trusted recruitsif he is to successfully reinvent Twitter.
Elon "needs a team around him," Bill George, former Medtronic CEO, said on Yahoo Finance Live. I think he's got a tiger by the tail. He's a brilliant guy, but I think he's going to need help."
Twitter has been in disarray since Musk took over the platform earlier this month.Musk began laying off roughly half of Twitter's 7,500-person work.
According to reports, the majority of the layoffs occurred in Twitter's ethical AI, marketing and communication, search, public policy, and wellness departments.
Following the initial layoffs, Musk required employees to sign a pledge to work under "extremely hardcore" conditions or risk being fired.
Musk has continued to lay off Twitter employees, including day before Thanksgiving. According to reports, the layoffs have left Twitter's key departments, particularly its regulatory department.
